2018 Dallas Hunger Summit – “Going from Hunger to Health!”

WHAT:The 7th Annual Dallas Hunger Summit of the Dallas Coalition for Hunger Solutions, chaired by U.S. Rep. Eddie Bernice Johnson. The 2018 Dallas Hunger Summit is an opportunity to learn about the general intersection of food insecurity and the health of individuals in Dallas-Fort Worth. Speakers and panelists will address the state of health for Dallas area residents, what is being done to recognize food insecurity and malnutrition as a public health problem, implications on local health and medical care, and steps being taken to assure access to healthy, nutritious food for all.
